The beauty of the temple attracts devotees and the visitors. Part of the facade of the goddess is very sharp and viewable.  The Archaeological survey of the area was in 1872 century .The report is published by the Presidential Roy Asiatic Society. A record is inscribed on the door of the temple complex Buddesh. There is also in this record the name of the descendant of King Serv Singh. Mind seeing the wonders of nature and the magnificent view of the temple is intriguing.
Seeing this scene, you automatically have knowledge of the devotion and control. The tree root well missed but the root of the tree ends to ground again to give the new life to the tree. This tree appears on its own narrative to the devotees come every day.
There is a small kund by the side of the temple .Water powered by hundreds of devotis daily flows down to the kund andit is absorbed there without overflowing. It is Jeevach pond .It is believed that who shed their clothes and bath here the child attains them. It is said that this temple was built by Raja Bhim Singh. The door has been erected in memory of Queen Dulari Devi.. There is funfair held for the devotees who come here Devotees carrying flowers, incense sticks and fun making games for their children. Their all wishes get fulfill with the blessing of Maa Chandika Bhawani.
The tantric Scholars and devotees attach much significance to this Chandi temple, which is said to form an equilateral triangle (TRIK) WITH Katyayani temple near Dhamhara ghat and Tara temple at Mahishi. During the Navratra people from distant places visit the village to offer prayers to the goddess of power

GARH BAZAR—This earthen hillock is at few distance from Biratpur. Seeing the height of the hillock from the ground level it transpires that here must have been palace of some king.

OTHER SITES—The name of the region Biratpur bears relation with king Birat of Matasya pradesh , where pandwas remained during the periods of their exile in disguise. This is the place where Kichak brother-in-law of Birat was murdered by Bhim, bcause of trying abduction of Dropadi. It is substantiated by the fact that a horse jin (lagam) of 60kg and one foot wear of about 15 hand ie about 18ft length was found during an excavation near the place. Not only that abnormally long size bricks and stone slabs were also found during the excavation. Stone plate memorials of Kichak and Pandawas are seen at bit distance from the temple place near Jalseema. No body could grab these land pieces till now

Remarks—A place of local tourist interest and for those who are interested in research over pre-historic stories of Mahabharat.
